“So you think you can dance” is the name of Minimarket’s summer collection 2016. Inspired by the Swedish dansband music, a movement that can’t really be translate into English, and with spring in their step, Minimarket put on a spectacular show with lots of sparkle. Personally, I love the shiny materials and fringes.
Minimarket has a way of keeping their looks cool and fresh and it’s no surprise that they are so popular amongst artists. Earlier this year, Minimarket collaborated with Nina Persson, Cardigans and this time, Jenny Wilson made an exclusive performance at the show.
“This is a collection dedicated to the fact that every girl is being fed with idealized stories of true love’s kisses as the key to salvation and happiness. […] No matter who you are, where you come from or what you do, when life gets tough, sometimes all you can do is hang onto your fantasies”.
Ida Sjöstedt keep giving us timeless beautiful dreamy silhuettes that we love. Romance forever.

Super talented Simon Ekrelius won “Swedish Fashion Talent of the Year 2015”.
Märta Larsson mixed influences from her upbringing in the Swedish North with urban London life and the mix of raw unpolished stones and hand crafted details was sensational.
Isabella Idberg was inspired by Los Angeles street style in the bright SS16 collection CA90808.

Arethé Stockholm showed a beautiful collection of shiny exclusive materials, effortlessly mixed with oversized silhouettes inspired by urban streetwear.
I photographed Karin at City Hall today. Personally, I’m a big fan of hats and it’s always right with a straw hat in summer. More photos posted on Karin’s fashion blog at Odalisque Magazine.

Everything is blossoming now and the air smells of elderberry. So, what could be more suitable than a floral theme?
